OUR STORY
Ke 'Ano Aloha started in February 2022. The Founder Kumu Kawena Mann, a native born Hawaiian, a hula student and a kumu hula with over 40 years of hula experience desired to create a special hula event that fully embraces the spirit of aloha. Aloha that permeates throughout the planning; throughout the interaction between planning committee members and participants; judges; and throughout all planned events, which includes: dinner show, workshops, and competition/exhibition.
The results of our first 2022
Ke 'Ano Aloha were very satisfying with 100 people attending our dinner show at the Kamakura Prince Hotel; over 100 combined students joining both Kumu Kawaikapuokalani Hewett and Kumu Chinky Mahoe workshops and 17 hula halau participating at competition/exhibition.
In 2023, we hope to further perpetuate this value of ALOHA as we continue to improve
Ke 'Ano Aloha for you.
